FRANKSTON Embona taskforce is investigating an attack that occurred in broad daylight in Dandenong last week.
Police said at 8.50am on 7 November, a 22-year-old Richmond man was walking through a car park on Robinsons Street when an unknown man threw a large rock that hit him in the head and caused him to lose consciousness.
Police said while the victim was unconscious, the unknown man stole his shoes and mobile phone before he fled on foot down Mason Street. The victim was taken to Dandenong Hospital where he was treated for a small cut on his head.
