A .22 calibre rifle, ammunition and $30 cash was stolen from a Keysborough Veterinary Clinic last week.
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred on the corner of Cheltenham Road and Chapel Road at 9.15am on 13 December.
Police said the thief or thieves gained entry through a window and disarmed the alarm unsuccessfully trying to jemmy open the door to a room where drugs were stored.
