A DANDENONG North man will face court after police clocked him travelling at double the signed speed limit in Emerald on the weekend.
The 31-year-old man was travelling on his motorcycle at 158 km/h on the Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, an 80km/h zone, at 7.50pm Saturday.
The man tried to escape police but turned down a dead-end court.
He faces charges of dangerous speed, evading police and driving while suspended.
His motorcycle was also impounded for 48 hours.
