POLICE are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired through a shop window last week.
Police said about 8.45pm on 8 March, a Foster Street shop owner asked a group of Sudanese and Maori males gathered outside to leave.
The shop owner went back inside the store and was on the lower level when he heard two shots fired, possibly from a shotgun, smashing his shop window.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
