A NEW playground will be built in Dandenong.
Combining, sensory, imaginative and exploratory play, the concept plan for the park includes swing sets, slides, balance beams, artwork and natural elements.
The playground is part of the Dandenong Park master plan and will be located in the Riverside Precinct next to Dandenong Creek and Lonsdale Street.
It is funded by the Federal Government’s regional local community infrastructure program and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The concept plan is available for comment until 13 June at www.greaterdandenong.com or at the council’s customer service centres and libraries.
