VISY Recycling in Springvale was on clean-up duty last week after a man smashed glass petitions in its lobby.
The man, who police believe may be an employee or former employee, visited the Princes Highway recycling plant at 3.45pm on 9 June and had an argument with a manager and employees.
He become aggressive and then produced a metal bar, which he used to smash glass partitions in the lobby.
When police arrived, the man turned on the officers and was subdued with capsicum foam.
