A GROUP of good Samaritans chased down a man suspected of robbing a shop in Dandenong on the weekend, holding him until police arrived.
A 31-year-old man was chased from the Lonsdale Street shop and captured by the group at the intersection of Scott and Thomas streets at 1.40pm on Sunday 25 September.
He was charged with two armed robberies.
Detective Ashley Penry is urging the good Samaritans and anyone involved in the incident to contact the Dandenong Embona Taskforce on 9767 7618.
