FIREBUGS have caused thousands of dollars of damage to a building at AMES Language School in Noble Park.
The fire at the main office entrance, believed to have been lit between 6pm on 15 November and 6am on 16 November, shattered the glass of the entry doors causing damage estimated at $3000.
Police believe sheets of paper were used to start the fire, which eventually burnt out.
The firebugs did not gain entry to the building and alarms were not activated.
Anyone with information about the fire is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Dixon from Dandenong CIU on 9767 7487 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
