EQUIPMENT worth more than $20,000 was stolen from a construction site for a special development school on Sandown Road in Springvale, near the train station.
The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between Friday 2 December and last Tuesday 6 December, where the offenders removed two metal bars from the fence to gain entry.
The thieves jemmied the padlocks on nine shipping containers and made off with lasers, power tools, laptops, a printer, a fax machine, a first-aid kit and four slabs of beer.
Police believe a car would have been used to transport the items.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Dandenong Police Station on 9767 7444.
