DANDENONG Thunder’s Victorian Premier League season opener against Southern Stars on March 24 has been moved to 5pm.
The game will still be played at George Andrews Reserve, Dandenong, and the under-21 games between the two clubs will start at 2.30pm. The Thunder expects its other Saturday home games to start at 7pm and be played under lights for the rest of the season.
The Thunder beat Sunshine 3-0 in a friendly game on Saturday.
The club had work done over summer on the lights at George Andrews Reserve after the lights failed last year.
