Robber’s bread barrage

By CASEY NEILL

POLICE need help to find a burger-joint burglar and the would-be thief who fled a bread loaf barrage.
On the night of 23 June, a man broke into the Nando’s restaurant on Heatherton Road, Noble Park.
Police have released images from CCTV footage and are appealing for anyone who knows his identity to come forward.
They’re also asking the community to help identify a man who entered a milk bar in Heyington Crescent, Dandenong North, armed with a stick about 6.15am on 1 March.
He wore a black scarf or balaclava to disguise his face and pointed the weapon at the staff member on duty, but left empty-handed when she screamed and threw bread at him.
He’s described as between 160 and 170 centimetres tall with a medium build, brown eyes and an olive complexion.
He was wearing a sky blue hooded jumper with white writing and dark-coloured pants.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au with information on either incident.
