Stabbing arrest

A HALLAM man, 32, was arrested and released pending inquiries last Tuesday following a vicious attack on an elderly Endeavour Hills woman.
The woman, 73, was inside her home on Georgette Crescent on 21 May when a man entered the house about 3.30pm and stabbed her in the neck before stealing her credit card.
Detectives believe the man tried to use the card at an ATM on the corner of Lonsdale and Clow streets, Dandenong, at 4.05pm the same day.
The woman is still in hospital.
