A DANDENONG North woman, 19, was stabbed three times as she returned home from walking her dog.
Police said another woman from Dandenong North, aged 24, approached the victim at her Dorset Road home’s front door about 1.45am on 14 October.
They allege a scuffle broke out when the attacker made demands for the dog. She then produced a large kitchen knife and stabbed the victim twice in the left arm and once in the hip.
Someone inside the home heard the incident, came outside, subdued the knife-wielding woman and called police.
Paramedics took both women to Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
The attacker will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court charged with armed robbery, intentionally causing serious injury and other assault charges.
