POLICE caught a Lynbrook man driving 120 kilometres per hour over the speed limit with a child in his car in Dandenong South.
About 1.40am on Saturday 8 February, Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol members were patrolling on Greens Road when they saw a car speeding.
They alledge the car was travelling at 200km/h in an 80km/h zone.
They stopped the Mercedes Benz coupe, were shocked to find the driver had a nine-year-old child in the car, and immediately impounded the vehicle under hoon legislation.
The 44-year-old driver is expected to be charged on summons with offences including speeding and speed dangerous.
