POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on Stud Road, Dandenong, on 19 March.
A Mooroopna man, 28, was walking on the footpath 100 metres south of David Street about 12.30am when two men approached and one asked for a cigarette.
The second man then grabbed the victim from behind and demanded money.
The victim handed over his wallet. The thieves removed cash from it and threw the wallet on the ground.
