ALMOST 90 people signed a petition calling for a ‘keep clear’ sign to be restored in Springvale South.
The City of Greater Dandenong accepted the petition at its most recent meeting.
The 87 signatories are asking Roads Minister Terry Mulder to direct VicRoads to restore ‘keep clear’ markings across all lanes at the intersection of Heatherton Road and Corio Drive.
Engineering services director Bruce Rendall said the matter was beyond the council’s power so it had sent the petition on to the relevant authority, VicRoads.
He said the council had previously raised the matter several times with no result.
“We will raise it again,” he said.
