THREE students dispensed with their uniforms and made themselves at home in the boss’s chair at St Mary’s School, Dandenong on Wednesday.
Raul Spink, Summer Sinclair and Mariel Garcia had successfully pitched for the right, winning an intra-school ‘persuasive writing’ competition to become ‘principal for a day’.
They tasted life at the top: a special assembly, flag-raising and lots of meetings.
Erstwhile principal Greg White, who was shadowed by the trio that day, said the Principals Australia Institute national event was about helping students hone their leadership skills.
