NOMINATIONS for awards to applaud Noble Park’s best are now open.
Noble Park Community Action Forum will present the Noble Park Community Participation Awards at the Noble Park Gala Dinner Dance on 11 October.
The evening at Noble Park RSL will also include a three-course dinner and live entertainment.
Nominations close on Friday 15 August at 4pm and can be left at the Noble Park RSL, addressed to the awards committee.
Organiser Gaye Guest urged people to consider nominating Noble Park residents whose selfless actions had enriched others through care, compassion, courage, leadership, community or environmental contribution.
“We would like to recognise these special people for their extraordinary inspiration, bravery or heroism,” he said.
“I’m sure you all know someone inspirational who always goes that extra mile, whether on a small or large scale.
“They could be a tireless volunteer or simply a great neighbour who is always willing to lend a helping hand.
“Please take the time to nominate one or more people you think deserve a pat on the back.”
