A MAN allegedly punched a 15-year-old boy in the face at Springvale Railway Station in an unprovoked attack, and police are appealing for help to find the culprit.
Last week they released an image of a man they want to speak to about the incident, which happened about 3.40pm on Wednesday 23 July.
The teen was waiting on platform two for a Pakenham-bound train, police said, when a man of Islander appearance approached, grabbed him by the school tie and punched him in the face.
The attacker then boarded the 3.46pm train to Pakenham.
He’s described as aged between 16 and 20 with a short black beard and moustache, and was wearing a red singlet, blue pants and grey beanie.
