Tomahawk raiders hit Maccas

TWO men armed with tomahawks raided Springvale McDonald’s and made off with money from a cash register.
They entered the restaurant on the corner of Springvale and Heatherton roads with stockings on their faces just after midnight on Friday 10 October.
Police said the men walked behind the counter and one demanded cash while the other kept a lookout.
He then grabbed cash from an open register and they both fled the scene.
They were last seen running across Heatherton Road toward Burden Park.
No one was injured during the incident.
One thief is described as about 183 centimetres tall with a solid build, and was wearing a grey hooded top, navy blue tracksuit pants with two stripes down the side, and Converse-style runners.
The second man was described as about 175cm tall and was wearing black tracksuit pants with writing down the side, a light-coloured T-shirt with a grey hooded top underneath, black shoes and black gloves.
