Charges follow cemetery death

HOMICIDE Squad detectives have charged three men over the death of Dandenong man Michael Strike.
The 38-year-old’s body was found outside Keilor Cemetery last 25 May.
Luke Maybus, 27, from Werribee, was last Thursday charged with murder, arson and theft of motor vehicle over the death.
John Walker, 32, from Brunswick, was charged with one count of murder and Boronia man Joseph Girgis, 40, has been charged with accessory to murder.
The charges followed Homicide Squad and Echo Task Force raids on homes in Brunswick, Boronia and Werribee earlier that day.
Police also searched the Bandido bikie gang’s Brunswick club house last Tuesday in relation to Mr Strike’s death.
They believe he visited the address the day before his death, and first searched it last November.
