BUBBLES of Happiness now adorns the Dandenong Primary School Community Hub.
Parents worked on the mosaic project throughout last year and celebrated its completion on 15 December.
The school choir performed Happy by singer Pharrell Williams and other students blew bubbles before the mosaics were unveiled.
The largest bears the school logo and they’re at the end of the building housing the Community Hub.
It opened at the school last January thanks to Scanlon Foundation funding and hosts activities, educational programs including literacy for children and preschool song and dance, a prep transition program and wheelbarrow competition.
Student wellbeing officer Kelly Finch and Community Hub co-ordinator Alison Rogers oversee the programs.
Ms Rogers said Dandenong Primary School was continually working towards providing an enhancing learning environment for students and a welcoming place for parents.
“Vegie, herb, indigenous and sensory gardens, mosaics and musical walls all add to create a peaceful and fun space,” she said.
Dandenong Neighbourhood House provided a tutor and materials for the mosaic project.
