Prayers bring colour of Bahamas

A TRIP to The Bahamas is as close as Keysborough this month.
The Keysborough Catholic Church will join in the World Day of Prayer with a service at 10.30am on Friday 6 March.
The global ecumenical movement brings Christians of many traditions together each year to observe a common day of prayer.
The women of The Bahamas have prepared this year’s service with the theme Jesus Said to Them ‘Do You Know What I Have Done To You?’.
Ramona Pelly from Resurrection Parish Keysborough invited everyone to attend.
“Every year one country is put up in prayer. We will represent The Bahamas as much as possible,” she said.
“We’ll all dress in colourful clothes.”
Father Brian Collins will officiate the service and Jan Pedderson will be the guest speaker.
Keysborough Catholic Church is at 402 Corrigan Road, Keysborough, and can be contacted on 9701 5899.
