On court and in the loop

BUSINESSES hit the court last week, but networking rather than baskets was in their sights.
Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce held a networking evening at Dandenong Basketball Stadium on Thursday 4 June.
The chamber aims to promote regional growth through leadership, support programs, networking and civic involvement and over the past 60 years has been an integral part of the business community of Dandenong.
It runs the Premier Regional Business Awards, which is in its 25th and final year.
The chamber will hold its next networking night at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong from 5.15pm on Thursday 9 July.
The event will be free for members and $10 per person for non-members.
A Premier Regional Business Awards breakfast will follow on 29 July and the Grand Final Charity Luncheon will be held on 30 September.
Phone Amanda on 9794 8881 or email greaterdandychamber@bigpond.com for more information.
