A MAN found with a gunshot wound in his leg in Dandenong this morning has been identified as from Narre Warren South.
He underwent surgery this morning.
EARLIER
A MAN has been unable to explain to police how he was found with a gunshot wound in Dandenong early on Tuesday morning, 22 September.
The 31-year-old was discovered in Leed Street about 1.50am.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the man was unable to tell police where the shot occurred or how the injury was sustained.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
