POLICE have cornered and captured a wanted Dandenong man.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said officers arrested Michael Burke, 36, about 3.30pm on Thursday 22 October.
“We’ve been looking for him for a few weeks,” he said.
“We allege he’s been committing numerous burglaries in the Dandenong area.”
Det Sgt Kirton said Burke had tried to flee from police, jumping over several fences and traversing backyards.
“Police set up a cordon and he was arrested trying to flee the cordon,” he said.
