Woman missing for 10 days

Family members are distraught after Dandenong woman, Freda Taikakara, 20, went missing and are appealing for public assistance to help locate her.

POLICE and family members hold welfare concerns for missing Dandenong woman Freda Taikakara, 20, and are appealing for public assistance to help locate her.
Freda was last seen when she left her home on the Princes Highway for work around noon on Friday 15 January.
Family members have told police it is out character for her to fail to contact them.
Freda is described as being Pacific Islander, about 165cm tall with a solid build, black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
It is believed she was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
Police have been told she uses public transport and likes to frequent the Dandenong and Hallam areas.
An image of Freda has also been released in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
