NOBLE Park Fire Brigade needs new daytime volunteers.
It’s seeking active men and women to sign up as CFA firefighters, but captain Terence Sanford said the role was about more than just flames.
He said they’d also help with important community education programs, promotions and displays, fund-raising and administrative activities.
Captain Sanford said all CFA volunteers received nationally-accredited training and developed skills they could also use in the workplace or at home.
“Volunteer membership offers new members fresh challenges as well as a chance to meet new people and give something back to their local community,” he said.
To get involved, call brigade support officer Matthew Pond on 0438 516 716 or email m.pond@cfa.vic.gov.au
