Tree crushes van

By CASEY NEILL

A LARGE pine tree has crushed a caravan in Dandenong South, trapping a man by his wrist.
CFA crews were called to a South Gippsland Highway address about 1.50pm on Tuesday 3 May to reports of two people trapped inside the van.
It took them just five minutes to get the pair out, but they had to use a chainsaw to free one man’s wrist.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said he was taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition with a wrist injury.
