A baby was taken to hospital following a front yard fight in Noble Park.
Police allege that two men, aged 21 and 42, and two women, aged 40 and 56, attended the Shirley Street home about 7pm on Monday 17 October.
They exited a black four-wheel drive and allegedly instigated an affray.
One of the victims – a 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man – was holding a four-month-old baby girl and dropped her during the altercation.
She was taken to Monash Medical Centre for observation and suffered only superficial injuries.
The two adult victims received scratches.
The quartet fled the scene just before police arrived.
They were all from a Hallam address and were known to the victims.
Police arrested them the following day and charged them with affray.
They were bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 23 November.
