Car thieves torched a silver Subaru sedan in a Noble Park reserve.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which occurred in Parkfield Reserve about 11am on Tuesday 1 November.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said the car was parked near the Scout hall when it was seen alight.
CFA crews attended and extinguished the fire.
Sen Const Wesley said the car’s badges had been removed and there were stolen plates on it.
“No one was seen at the park at the time,” he said.
“We’re appealing for witnesses.”
