Workshops to shape youth future

Young people will learn how to shape their futures at National Youth Week workshops.
Greater Dandenong Youth and Family Services received a $2000 State Government grant for the Create Your Future series.
Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams said youths would participate in activities that enhanced their employability, exposed them to education or employment pathways, raised aspirations and built enterprise skills.
“This funding will give young people in Dandenong the chance to participate in events, build skills and develop ideas,” she said.
The inaugural Youth Summit on 31 March will mark the start of National Youth Week and welcome young people from across Victoria to discuss issues that matter most to them.
“National Youth Week celebrates ideas that young people provide to our state no matter what their background or where they live,” Ms Williams said.
