Student robbed at knifepoint

A Noble Park student was robbed at knifepoint just metres from his school.
The 18-year-old was walking from Noble Park Secondary College on the footpath in Leman Crescent, about 1.45pm on Monday 20 February, when a blue sedan approached from the opposite side of the road.
The driver performed a U-turn and pulled up beside the victim.
Two people got out of the car and approached the teen, one armed with a red plastic-handled knife with disposable blades, possibly a Stanley knife.
They demanded his phone and one grabbed him by his shirt.
The men took the phone from the student’s pocket but he grabbed it back and turned over his watch instead.
The thieves got back into the car and drove off towards Callaghan Street.
Police urged any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
