High-tech hospital upgrade

Dandenong Hospital has received cash for a technology update.
On Friday 24 March, the State Government announced that 11 hospitals would receive Medical Equipment Replacement Program funding and 10 would get Engineering Infrastructure Replacement Program cash.
The total funding pool was $60 million.
Dandenong Hospital will receive money to install a voice over internet protocol system.
“We are making sure patients in Dandenong can get the high quality care they need and deserve, sooner and closer to home,” Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams said.
“By upgrading equipment and infrastructure, we’re giving our hard working doctors and nurses at Dandenong Hospital the support they need to do what they do best – which is keeping us healthy and saving lives.”
