Light shines on crime

A Keysborough woman discovered would-be thieves on her front doorstep at 2am.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said the victim heard noises and turned on the front light of her Kotiko Road home on Sunday 16 April.
She saw several people on the front porch who quickly ran from the scene.
“They’d been kicking on the front door,” Det Sen Const Lavars said.
Canine units attended but were unable to locate those responsible.
