A man has been left hungry and carless after being attacked after picking up his pizza in Dandenong.
The 51-year-old Dandenong man was walking back to his car near Clow Street in Dandenong on 12 September, pizza in hand, when he was attacked by a man covering his face, police said.
His attacker threw him to the ground, stole his car keys and then drove off in his black Toyota Kluger.
The car was found burnt out in a reserve in Hallam a few hours later.
The victim also lost his pizza.
“It was on the driveway, gone, smashed – so he didn’t even get his dinner, the poor fellow,” Detective Sergeant Craig West said.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
