A man stole a credit card from a Noble Park home and used it to buy cigarettes.
Police said he took the card early on Wednesday 17 January and attended a service station on Heatherton Road in Springvale South later in the day.
They released CCTV stills of a man they believe could assist with their inquiries.
He is described as Caucasian with a slim build, brown hair and ruddy complexion.
