Beaten and robbed in Springvale street

A man has been punched in the head during a robbery by two male assailants in Osborne Avenue, Springvale.

The 26-year-old dropped his mobile phone after the blow about 10.45pm on Saturday 23 February.

The phone was grabbed by one of the two robbers, who fled down Victoria Avenue and drove off in a blue vehicle described as a station wagon or SUV.

They were described as African appearance, wearing hooded jumpers covering their faces.
