Drugs and pill press seized in raids

Six people have been arrested during police raids on four homes in Melbourne’s South East on 22 August.

Southern Metro Division 3 Divisional Response Unit members allegedly seized methamphetamine, cocaine as well as large quantities of cash and a pill press.

It was part of a 10 month operation into drug trafficking in the Springvale area, police say.

Police raided premises in Annafee Avenue, Keysborough; Spring Road, Springvale; Bellvue Court, Noble Park North; and Preston Avenue, Endeavour Hills.

A 25-year-old Keysborough man was charged with large-commercial drug trafficking, and a 35-year-old Endeavour Hills man was charged with drug trafficking.

Both men were remanded to appear Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 23 August

A 31-year-old Endeavour Hills woman was charged with trafficking and bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 30 September.

A 55-year-old Endeavour Hills woman was charged with possessing proceeds of crime and was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 16 October.

A 27-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, both from Noble Park North, were released pending further enquiries.
