DANDENONG Rangers women dropped their clash with Hobart Chargers at Dandenong Stadium on Saturday night.
The Rangers lost 68-59 with Chargers star Myra Donkin scoring a game-high 27 points along with six rebounds and five assists while the home side shot just 32 per cent from the field.
The Chargers also monstered the Rangers on the glass, winning the rebound count 51-32.
Rangers guard Clare Papavs led her side with 17 points and Amelia Todhunter had 13 points and five assists.
The Rangers men scored another important win in their run to the playoffs with a 94-70 decision over Hobart Chargers at Dandenong Stadium on Saturday night.
The Rangers shot 59 per cent from the field.
Rangers import Daequon Montreal continued his top form with 23 points. Brent Hobba had 17 and Tony Lewis 16.
The Rangers men and women visit Sandringham this Saturday night. The women’s game is at 5.30pm and the men’s game at 7.30pm.
