A 48-YEAR-old Dandenong man was arrested after police uncovered DNA evidence on sexual assaults on women up to 20 years ago.
Sexual Crimes Squad Cold Case Unit detectives arrested the man about 6am in Dandenong in relation to alleged separate sexual assaults in April 1992 and August 1996.
He was charged with four counts of rape, two counts of false imprisonment and other assault related offences.
He was expected to front the Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning.
