Teens face charges after Springvale assault

Four people have been charged after an alleged abduction and assault in Springvale last Thursday night.

Police said a 17-year-old boy was walking along Turramurra Drive about 7.40pm when he was allegedly forced into a car and assaulted by four males.

The group let the boy go some time later and he reported the incident to Springvale police.

Four people were arrested in Charman Road, Cheltenham, about 10.30pm.

Two 18 year olds – one from Keysborough, the other from Endeavour Hills – were charged and were to appear before Dandenong Magistrates Court.

A Keysborough boy and a Springvale boy, both 17, have been bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
