Man arrested at scene of Noble Park chemist burglary

A 37-YEAR-old man was arrested at the scene of a burglary at a chemist in Noble Park last Thursday.

The police’s canine unit confronted the man at the rear of Chemist Warehouse in Leonard Avenue after an alarm was activated about 1.30am.

Police say the man confronted a police officer and dog, and was ‘‘subdued’’ by the dog. 

A stolen car was discovered outside the chemist.

The man was charged with theft of a vehicle, attempted assault and burglary.
