Volunteer companions are needed to help overcome social isolation for frail older people and people with disabilities who live independently in the Greater Dandenong area. Wesley Mission Victoria’s Do Care volunteers visit their client once a week. Possible activities include conversation, walks, drives, cards and board games, gardening, fishing and golfing, and having a meal. Wesley gives support to its volunteers. Details: 9794 3000.
