Disqualified driver 70km/h over on Monash

A disqualified driver had his car impounded for 30 days after being detected speeding at 170km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Monash Freeway. Dandenong highway patrol officers intercepted the sedan just after 4.30am on November 23. Police say the 27-year-old driver, of Springvale, gave a false name and address. Police allegedly found cannabis and amphetamines in the vehicle. The man was charged  and his car impounded.
