An 18-year-old man had to be rescued by police on Thursday after getting caught in a drainage area near Corrigan Road and Memorial Drive, Keysborough. The local resident was attempting to surf during heavy afternoon rain. Two police units attended the scene at 6.50pm. The man, who was not hurt, was warned over his behaviour.
