Arson suspected in Dandenong area

Greater Dandenong detectives are investigating a series of suspicious fires in recent weeks. One of the fires was lit in a milk crate at the rear of a business in Princes Highway, Dandenong, about 7.30pm last Monday. Two other fires were started in a derelict building at the former Keysborough Primary School site in Lockwood Avenue — one at 9pm on February 28 and the other about 4.45pm on March 2. A wheelie bin in Jessie Street, Noble Park was set alight about 5am on February 27.
