Burgler bashes Dandenong worker

A man was knocked unconscious during an aggravated burglary at his workplace in Dandenong last Monday morning. Police believe the the 57-year-old man was struck with a blunt instrument between 7-7.30am. A passer-by found him unconscious, with teeth knocked out, outside a motorcycle mechanic’s garage in Plunkett Road, between Box and Windale streets, about 8.10am. The man, of Doncaster East, was treated at The Alfred hospital for head injuries and a deep cut to the back of his head.
