House burgled, burned on Anzac Day

A house in Watson Street, Dandenong North, was destroyed by two fires, deliberately lit inside the home on Anzac Day. The house’s tenant and her daughters had left on a trip to Albury two days earlier. In the intervening time, whitegoods and an unregistered vehicle with no number plates were also stolen.

Three charged in bashing

Three young males were charged over the assault of a 16-year-old boy outside a fast-food outlet in Clow Street, Dandenong. The boy was knocked out after being punched in the head about 9.30pm on April 27. Two 16-year-old boys and a 17 year old will appear in the Children’s Court.

Assault in park

A man was assaulted and robbed by three males in Dandenong Park about 7.30pm on April 24. The 55-year-old Dandenong man, who was intoxicated, had $40 stolen after he was bashed and lost consciousness. He was taken to Dandenong Hospital.
