TWO hoons will be dragged into court after police caught them racing at almost 50 kilometres over the speed limit on Saturday night.
Casey Highway Patrol officers spotted the duo travelling west on the Dandenong Bypass in Dandenong South just after 11.30pm.
It’s alleged the pair were travelling neck and neck and reached speeds of up to 126km/h in an 80km/h zone.
Officers impounded both cars on the spot.
A 24-year-old Noble Park man and a Keysborough man, 29, are expected to be charged on summons with highway racing and speed-related offences.
